Description:
The position of Engineering Manager, Systems Architecture, will be responsible for the overall evaluation, planning, execution and success of complex technical projects that are fundamental to the research and development of the next generation of advanced high performance computing. This individual will work on technical projects requiring cross-functional teams, including architectural simulation studies and interactions with system software engineers and the hardware engineering team during the design of the processor. In addition to providing leadership, this position will be expected to contribute technically to projects. In this role, the Architecture Manager will ensure the timely completion of engineering projects, oversee the definition of new or modified design.
The primary duties and responsibilities include:
- Monitoring, measuring, and improving the performance, availability, reliability, and cost-efficiency through architectural planning
- Successfully managing the architecture group in a cross-functional organization
- Interfacing with partners and customers with an emphasis on product development and customer solutions
